$26.00/hr - $35.00/hr Responsibilities

Designs, implements and tests simulations associated with the design, Development, fabrication, and fielding of a Multi-Mission Advanced Capability Transportable Target Launcher (MACTTL) and field operations associated with Ballistic Missile System Flight Testing. Participates in the MACTTL as a subject matter expert in electrical system designs, system safety, military use ballistic missile launchers and launcher system operations. Conducts electrical system technical work to include requirements baseline. Documents system risks and mitigation strategies. Participates in the Risk and Opportunities Manage Board (ROMB) and supports ballistic vehicle system integration. Defines schedules, assigns, and executes tasks, and leads the monitoring of integration and checkout activities, receiving and evaluating results of activities. Approves and disapproves of each by determining whether results meet the checkout requirements. Direct liaison between the Project Manager and the government customer (OSIC), host shipyard facility, ships force, and/or local RMC. Responsible for the day-to-day activities of their team and personnel/subcontractors/vendors assigned to the project. Qualifications

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Must have Senior Technician experience with a minimum of 8 years Navy Shipyard Work experience; with a minimum of 2 years leading small tasks. Must have completed, or will have to complete within 30 days of hire date, the Valkyrie Site Supervisor Class training. Must successfully pass a panel/board interview. Must have general working knowledge of computers/technology and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Must have the ability to build a QA tracking book/work package. Must be able to provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned task(s) including subcontractor/vendor management at the site. Must have working knowledge of drawings, shipyard operations, Navy operations, NAVSEA instructions, WAF and Tagout requirements, and general AIT contractor knowledge. Desired Qualifications

Proven Experience with QA Management systems is strongly preferred. Job Related Certifications are strongly preferred. Security Requirements

Must be able to obtain and retain a security clearance and access to private and public shipyards and Naval installations. Travel Requirements

Occasional travel - less than 10% If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements
