Position We are currently seeking a seasoned
Google Cloud Cybersecurity SME
to support various aspects of cybersecurity for systems deployed within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GCP security features and best practices and will play a crucial role in ensuring the security posture of sensitive government and military data. Must hold active
SECRET clearance
and relevant
GCP, AWS, and DoD 8570
certifications.
Key Responsibilities A subject‑matter expert with regards to Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and a broad coverage of the application of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards and guidance. Maintains current certification as a Certified Cloud Security Professional. Works independently with substantial cloud computing security knowledge. Identifies, manages and resolves cloud computing security risk and implements "best practices" as applied within a cloud environment.
Minimum Requirements
Five (5) years of relevant C&A experience
Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A experience
DOD Cybersecurity experience
Experience in assessing Cybersecurity Controls and conducting C&A reviews for large, complex information systems
Experience with modern and dynamic computing and networking protocols or standard Internet of Things (IoT) protocols.
Experience and well versed in FedRAMP assessment methodology of security and privacy controls deployed in cloud information systems
Knowledge and understanding of solutions and strategies to meet or exceed requirements of DoD's Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
Hold an active Secret clearance
Certifications
DoD 8570 IAT II (i.e Security+, SSCP, etc.)
Google Associate Cloud Engineer OR Google Professional Cloud Architect
Additional CSP certification
