Overview

The Data / Quantitative Analyst supports mPulse’s print production operations by analyzing equipment performance, production throughput, and job data. This role provides key insights into capacity, costing, and operational efficiency, helping guide strategic decisions and optimize resource utilization. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and technically proficient in data visualization, database management, and scripting. This position offers opportunities for growth as mPulse expands its production footprint and capabilities. Duties/Responsibilities

Production Analytics: Analyze production and equipment throughput data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency gains. Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track metrics such as utilization, downtime, throughput, and yield. Workload Forecasting: Support planning by analyzing job volumes, estimating production requirements, and assessing capacity needs. Costing Analysis: Monitor job costing and profitability, ensuring accuracy in estimates and reports. Database Management: Design, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and databases to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts and queries to automate data collection, processing, and reporting. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Finance, and IT to align on performance metrics and operational objectives. Strategic Project Support: Serve as a key member of cross-functional teams supporting expansion projects (e.g., second facility setup, PMO tracking, facility readiness). Additional Responsibilities: Operate print production-specific software such as imposition tools, Adobe Creative Suite (for prepress/file creation), and EFI Pace (for estimating and costing). Skills/Abilities/Experience

Experience with ERP/MIS systems such as EFI Pace or Print MIS. Understanding of production scheduling, costing, and workflow optimization. Experience building APIs or data integration scripts. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in data or operations analysis, ideally within a manufacturing or print production environment. Strong proficiency in SQL (SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL). Coding experience in Python, R, or similar languages. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to present complex data insights clearly and effectively. Physical Requirements
