Position Overview MaineHealth is seeking a

Patient Service Coordinator

to join our

Cardiology Department

at 96 Campus Drive. In this important role, you will support the ambulatory operations of the MaineHealth Cardiovascular Service Line. The Patient Service Coordinator manages complex scheduling within the practice and provides vital administrative and office support for patients and providers, ensuring a seamless and compassionate care experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate ambulatory physician and APP coverage, inpatient hospital services, and regional outreach sites to facilitate quality access-to-care.

Organize yearly weekend call schedules.

Manage data entry and reporting.

Contribute to strategic access-to-care planning by presenting proposals and insights to senior leadership and physicians.

Operating Hours Facility hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

License/Certifications: N/A

Experience: Two years of administrative patient service experience.
