Purpose of the Role
This volunteer role supports our mission by helping maintain accurate financial records. Your work ensures every donation and expense is properly tracked so our cats receive the care and resources they need.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Enter donor contributions and expenses into QuickBooks Online
✔ Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
✔ Maintain organized digital receipts and documentation
✔ Generate simple financial reports when requested
✔ Support donor acknowledgment tracking and audit readiness
✔ Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
Skills & Qualifications
Experience with QuickBooks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic understanding of bookkeeping or financial recordkeeping
Dependable and able to meet monthly deadlines
Comfortable working independently or collaborating with Treasurer
Nonprofit accounting experience is helpful but not required!
