Join Our Growing Cancer Care Team in Beautiful Maine! Hematologist-oncologists with subspecialty interest in Hematology or pure Hematologists are invited to join MaineHealth Cancer Care, Blood Disorders and IV Therapy – Sanford, Maine. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice comprehensive hematology care in a rapidly expanding, supportive environment. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive hematology care within a growing Hematology-Oncology practice. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pharmacists, nurse navigators, social workers, palliative care providers, and infusion center staff. Engage in ongoing care across the MHCC network, including Tele-Hematology services. Participate in an environment with access to advanced tertiary hematology services at MaineHealth Cancer Care and Maine Medical Center in Portland. Contribute to service growth, including care of patients receiving novel therapies such as BiTE therapy, and participate in a flexible schedule (4 outpatient days + 1 administrative day) with potential for a pure hematology or hybrid hematology-oncology practice. Share in a competitive call schedule with hospitalists contributing inpatient care. Be part of a state-of-the-art cancer center expansion project planning in Wells, ME and contribute to future facility integration in Sanford. Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Successful completion of residency/fellowship in oncology or hematology-oncology. Board-certified or board-eligible in oncology or hematology-oncology.
