About the Role
We are seeking a General Manager to lead the team at Elizabeth Street Café. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality-driven leader who thrives in vibrant, high-volume settings while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, guest experience, and team culture. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring that the café continues to deliver the warm, thoughtful, and consistent experience that defines MML Hospitality. Lead and inspire a passionate front- and back-of-house team with a focus on mentorship, collaboration, and growth. Maintain operational excellence across service, food quality, and guest experience. Drive financial performance through strong business acumen, budgeting, and P&L management. Partner closely with the culinary team to ensure menu execution and quality align with brand standards. Foster a culture that embodies hospitality, inclusivity, and teamwork. Oversee hiring, scheduling, training, and performance development for all team members. Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and labor regulations. Represent the spirit and aesthetic of Elizabeth Street Café within the broader MML portfolio. What You’ll Bring
5+ years of experience in a General Manager or senior leadership role within a high-volume or fine dining hospitality environment. Proven ability to lead teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, and cost controls. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. A passion for food, wine, and design-driven hospitality. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Food Manager and TABC certifications (or ability to obtain). Physical Requirements
