Kingfisher Air Services
Kingfisher Air Services has been a DHL feeder cargo carrier throughout the Caribbean Islands and South America for more than 30 years. We are currently seeking Pilots in Command to operate 7 Cessna Caravan 208B aircraft from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad & Tobago. Flights normally operate Monday - Saturday, departing and returning to base every day; schedules vary depending on the assigned base. As a single pilot operation, it must be allowed to perform international flights under ICAO regulations.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Pilot in Command at Kingfisher Air Services, based in Trinidad POS. The Pilot in Command will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, conducting pre-flight checks, and ensuring compliance with FAA and ICAO aviation regulations.
Qualifications
Commercial Pilot Certificate with Single Engine Land or ATP Certificate; Instrument Rating
1200 hours Total Flight Time
500 hours PIC
500 hours Cross Country
100 hours Night
75 Hours Actual Instrument Time with no more than 25 hours simulated instrument time.
Current 1st Class Medical from the FAA
IFR proficiency and currency
Current Passport with no travel restriction
Extensive experience in piloting aircraft and managing flight operations
Knowledge of aviation regulations, safety protocols, and navigation systems
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations confidently
