Position Summary The Vice President of Field Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, franchisee profitability, and brand consistency across all Hammer & Nails locations. This leader will oversee field performance via our network of Area Developers (ARs) and regional support teams, ensuring that each territory executes at a high level and aligns with corporate strategy, culture, and standards. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, bringing a deep understanding of franchising, multi-unit operations, and brand performance metrics. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Oversight

Lead, mentor, and manage the Area Developer (AR) network, ensuring alignment with franchise performance and brand values. Establish and maintain clear communication, accountability, and performance expectations with ARs and franchisees. Oversee the Field Operations functions led by the ARs, providing guidance, training, and consistent coaching to drive franchisee success. Operational Excellence

Ensure consistent execution of Hammer & Nails’ brand standards across all shops, including service delivery, cleanliness, guest experience, and operational systems. Conduct regular business reviews, shop visits, and audits to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Drive ongoing operational support provided by our AR teams. Oversee operational performance of corporate locations. Financial & Performance Management

Monitor and act to improve shop-level KPIs including revenue, member conversion, labor efficiency, and profitability. Drive unit-level economics through data-driven operational improvements. Support franchisees’ financial performance by developing field AR teams. Drive utilization of Profit Keeper to ensure accurate data is collected. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with the leadership team to align field support with overall brand strategy. Serve as a key voice in the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to long-term growth and strategic planning. Qualifications

10+ years of leadership experience in national franchise operations, multi-unit management, or hospitality/retail operations. Proven track record managing and developing Area Developers or Regional Franchise Consultants. Strong understanding of franchise business models, unit economics, and operational systems. Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills. Ability to travel up to 40–50% nationally. Passion for brand-building and delivering world-class guest experiences.
