Product Development Lifecycle Innovation: Introduce and champion generative AI and agent-driven tools in product discovery, market research, requirements gathering, coding, testing, or analytics to improve efficiency and quality. Execution & Delivery: Oversee end-to-end execution from concept to launch and iteration. Write roadmaps and PRDs, define features and acceptance criteria, maintain backlogs, prioritize features by impact and effort, and ensure on-time delivery. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Product Vertical leaders, Program/Project Managers, and executives to meet needs of learning products and operations. Communicate progress through presentations and reports; advocate for the customer and business benefits. Technical Depth & Decision-Making: Apply a strong technical background to make informed product decisions regarding identity management, authentication flows, and cloud architecture. Ensure architectural choices support the product vision and security/s scalability standards. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay current on identity, security, and AI/ML trends. Identify opportunities to adopt new technologies (e.g., passwordless authentication, adaptive security, AI-driven anomaly detection) and pilot successful experiments for scale. Measurement & Accountability: Define KPIs and success metrics (e.g., authentication success rates, login-related support tickets, onboarding time) and use data to guide decisions and demonstrate program value. Mentoring and Leadership (Individual Contributor): While not a direct manager, mentor junior product managers and product owners, share expertise, and foster best practices in product management and AI adoption within the SDLC. Required Qualifications

Experience: 8+ years in product management, with multiple years in platform or technical product management. Proven track record delivering end-to-end initiatives, ideally including IAM or related technical platforms. Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority. Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of IAM principles and technologies. Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, directory services, identity providers, user lifecycle management, and compliance requirements (FERPA, GDPR). Technical Acumen: Comfortable discussing complex designs with architects and engineers. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern software architecture (microservices, APIs, event-driven systems). Understanding AI/ML concepts and their application to products. Leadership & Collaboration: Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management. Ability to distill complex ideas and communicate effectively to technical teams and executives. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with collaboration on user story definition, backlog prioritization, and sprint planning. Innovation Mindset: Demonstrated interest or experience in generative AI, automation, and intelligent agents. Track record of driving innovation and a continuous learning attitude. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Equivalent professional experience can substitute for some education if clearly applicable. Preferred Qualifications

Identity & Access Management (IDAM) solutions: Hands-on design, implementation, and scaling of IDAM for complex SaaS platforms, with focus on security, compliance, and user experience. EdTech and Data Standards: Experience in education technology or data-driven industries. Familiarity with education data standards (e.g., Ed-Fi, LTI) and K-12 operations is a plus. AI/ML Projects: Experience with AI-enabled product features or using AI in product management processes. Cloud & Security Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, security/privacy certifications) that demonstrate data protection and security knowledge. Leadership in Matrix Organizations: Experience driving initiatives across multiple teams or departments in a large matrix organization. If you’re excited about building the identity backbone of a next-generation online learning platform and thrive at the intersection of technology innovation and product strategy, apply to be a key architect of PVS’s future.
