We are looking for a
PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to enhance our rehabilitation team. This flexible role is perfect for a committed therapist wanting to make a significant impact in the lives of seniors, all while enjoying the flexibility of PRN scheduling. Note that this position requires on-site services. Position Summary: As a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat residents experiencing communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Collaborating with a dedicated interdisciplinary team, you'll create and implement personalized therapy plans aimed at improving the residents' quality of life and promoting their independence. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that meet each resident's individual needs. Deliver therapy interventions, including compensatory strategies, exercises, and alternative communication methods. Educate residents, families, and staff on effective communication and swallowing management techniques. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams for efficient and coordinated care. Track resident progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and maintain documentation of outcomes. Ensure compliance with regulatory and facility guidelines through accurate and timely documentation. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and support the ongoing success of the rehabilitation department. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Colorado. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on resident-centered care. Ability to work flexibly on a PRN basis as required. Proficiency in documentation and electronic medical records (EMRs). What We Offer: Competitive hourly wage ranging from $65 to $75 based on qualifications.
