Partner Solution Architect - ISV Technology Partners, Partner SA, Tech COE Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Partner Solution Architect with a Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) background to enable new capabilities for our customers to design and deploy UCaaS/CCaaS solutions on AWS. You will develop and drive technical strategies with assigned ISV partners, taking the lead on go‑to‑market products built on or integrated with AWS. You’ll collaborate with partners to build highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures, accelerate customer adoption of partner solutions on AWS, and help build your cloud brand through whitepapers, webinars, and events.

Key Responsibilities

Work with partners as a strategic advisor to deeply understand their business and technical needs.

Develop solutions that make the best use of AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ECS, SageMaker, and other communications platforms for IVR, auto‑call distribution, and integration with AWS services for data storage and analytics.

Collaborate with AWS field sales, training, and support teams to ensure partner success.

Be a thought leader by evangelizing AWS services and ISV solutions through AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public speaking events such as AWS Summit and AWS re:Invent.

Act as a technical liaison between partners and the service engineering teams, providing product improvement feedback to AWS developers and accelerating adoption of new features.

Provide one‑to‑many training sessions to transfer knowledge to builders who are or will be using AWS.

Capture and share best‑practice knowledge among the AWS solution architecture community.

Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within partners to enable them to be cloud advocates.

Drive product integrations between partner products and AWS services.

Proof of concept development for solutions involving AWS services.

Publish blog posts, white papers, and reference architectures to demonstrate thought leadership.

Day in the Life

Meet partner product managers and engineering teams to discuss blockers or gather feedback on ongoing build activities.

Build and test a proof‑of‑concept or create a code sample.

Write a blog post or white paper.

Consume technical news and stay up to date with the latest happenings in the market and software community.

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructure.

3+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.

4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or internet industries.

2+ years of experience with Unified Communications and Collaboration, involving design, development, and implementation of complex voice/video solutions. Recent and demonstrable hands‑on experience with AI/ML, GenAI workloads.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within software development or internet‑related industries.

Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.

Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

Deep expertise in configuring and building CCaaS or UCaaS solutions including IVR contact flows, Lambda coding, Amazon Lex, ACD routing, telephony integration, and SIP trunking.

Travel: Must be open to travel at least 30% including international.

Possible locations include San Francisco, Seattle, Arlington, New York, or Austin.
