Hazard Zone Deployment Lead, Counter Intrusion at Anduril Industries. Anduril is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. Anduril’s Mission Operations team is seeking a Deployment Lead to join our team. This is a D.C based role and not eligible for remote/hybrid work. As a member of Anduril Mission Operations, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting Anduril’s products worldwide. You will work with engineering teams to iterate improvements as products evolve, take ownership of delivering technical solutions, and guide users through product employment and troubleshooting. You will also advise account managers on how to structure operations for technical success and communicate user feedback to engineering for product refinement. In this role as a Deployment Lead on the Counter Intrusion team, you are responsible for delivering and sustaining a capability in Hazard Zones that meets customers’ mission requirements and exceeds expectations. You will demonstrate ownership of the health and performance of deployed assets, represent Anduril to customers with professionalism, and relay customer insights back to Anduril to improve products and teams. What You'll Do
Deployment planning and execution: Lead deployment events (site installations, test and evaluation exercises, demonstrations, training, and maintenance visits). Manage end-to-end deployment processes from site surveys to testing, pack-out, installation, training, and sustainment. Demonstrate judgment, grit, and composure in high-pressure situations; anticipate contingencies and continuously improve processes. Relationship management: Build trust with customers, partners, users, and teammates through clear communication, listening, empathy, and follow-through. Develop cross-organizational relationships and communicate expectations directly. Mission expertise: Develop deep knowledge of customer mission requirements, including threats, regulatory challenges, resources, and rules of engagement. Communicate requirements and CONOPS to engineers to evolve capabilities and address evolving mission needs. Product expertise: Understand Anduril’s Family of Systems, sensor modalities, sensor fusion, power and networking needs. Forecast performance across threat profiles and mission constraints. Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree or 4+ years of technical work experience, preferably in defense, national security, or aerospace Highly organized problem-solver with proven project management skills Experience leading tech-enabled teams and building influence through relationships Deep interest in national security and defense technologies with a commitment to lifelong learning Active U.S. Secret security clearance Willing to travel up to 50% of the year (Hazard Zones ~35%, other travel ~15%) Salary and Benefits
US Salary Range: $113,000—$149,000 USD Healthcare Benefits: Anduril offers comprehensive health plans for full-time employees, with regional variations.
