Overview

Mercedes-Benz of Anchorage is seeking a General Manager to oversee all dealership operations and lead a high-performing team across Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance. The ideal candidate is a proven operator with strong business acumen, leadership presence, and the ability to deliver excellence across every department. Responsibilities

Direct all dealership operations with full P&L responsibility. Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention. Lead and mentor department heads to achieve departmental and organizational goals. Ensure operational excellence through disciplined execution and KPI management (net-to-gross, absorption, CSI, and employee engagement). Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, professionalism, and teamwork. Partner closely with Mercedes-Benz USA to maintain brand standards and maximize dealership performance. Oversee recruiting, coaching, and development of top talent across all functions. Qualifications

Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity. 5+ years of proven success as a General Manager, General Sales Manager, or Department Director in a luxury or high-volume dealership. Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations exceeding $10M in annual revenue. Deep understanding of dealership financials, forecasting, and operational levers. Demonstrated ability to lead lean teams effectively while maintaining profitability and brand excellence. Track record of achieving or exceeding performance metrics like: Annual Revenue: $5-10M Net-to-gross: 18-22%+ CSI/NPS: 95%+ -- top-tier within the Mercedes-Benz network Employee Retention:

Proven record of improving profitability, operational discipline, and customer satisfaction simultaneously. Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Mercedes-Benz or comparable luxury brand experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits

Sitting: The majority of the workday is spent sitting at a desk, using a computer and phone. Standing and Walking: There may be times when the general manager needs to stand, walk around the dealership, or attend meetings. Reaching and Bending: The manager may need to reach for files, supplies, or equipment. Lifting: Occasionally, there might be a need to lift or move documents, supplies, or equipment.
