Memory Care Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
to join our team and help lead our memory care neighborhood with clinical excellence, empathy, and heart. About the Role
As the
Memory Care Assistant Director of Nursing , you’ll work closely with the Director of Nursing and the Memory Care Director to oversee daily nursing operations within our memory care neighborhood. You’ll ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered care while supporting and mentoring the care team to deliver with compassion and consistency. Key Responsibilities
Support and assist the Director of Nursing in managing all clinical aspects of memory care. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring best practices in dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Monitor resident health, coordinate care plans, and maintain accurate documentation. Partner with families and interdisciplinary teams to promote open communication and trust. Participate in staff training, onboarding, and ongoing education for memory care staff. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and community regulations. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on resident dignity, engagement, and wellbeing. Qualifications
Current RN or LPN license (required). Previous experience in senior living, memory care, or long-term care leadership (preferred). Strong leadership, clinical, and communication skills. Compassionate approach and passion for improving the lives of seniors with memory loss. Benefits
