The base pay range for this role is

$307,500.00/yr - $362,500.00/yr .

Job title Vice President of Legal & Security Operations and Insurance (to lead and optimize the operational, financial, and administrative functions of the teams reporting to the Chief Legal Officer). This is a high-impact role that integrates oversight of legal, facilities & security operations and insurance management, while serving as a key partner and chief of staff to the Chief Legal Officer.

What you’ll get to do As a key direct report to the Chief Legal Officer, this role will drive the execution of the following areas in connection with CLO leadership:

Strategic Planning: Drive strategic direction of the teams under the CLO and implement operational changes aligned with the Company’s objectives and long-range plan.

Cost & Budget Management: Develop and manage matter-level budgeting, legal forecasts and law firm accruals, collaborate with finance for timely reporting, and book contingencies per ASC 450-20 and ASC 450-30 related to litigation and insurance matters.

Insurance Management: Ensure Vuori’s insurance programs address risks and manage yearly renewals and claims administration.

Strategic Support on Litigation: Support litigation strategies, cost and damage analysis, including EMV calculations, to aid optimal decisions.

Data, Metrics and Technology: Develop operational processes and analytics to improve performance and demonstrate value; implement and improve systems related to e-billing, contract, document and claims management; ensure a right-sized technology stack driving efficiency.

Data Analytics & Reporting: Establish KPIs, track legal spend and department performance, and provide data-driven insights to leadership; assist in quarterly leadership and board reporting.

Outside Counsel & Vendor Management: Oversee selecting and managing outside counsel and vendors to ensure value, transparency, and strong partnerships.

Continuous Process Improvement: Map and improve operational processes, identify opportunities for automation, and implement new policies and procedures.

Knowledge Management: Develop systems for managing legal information, including research, transactional documents, and historical data.

Business Mentorship: Support development of team members in risk mitigation strategies and internal-client relationships.

Qualifications Who you are:

15+ years of finance, accounting, budgeting, insurance, project management and/or complex transactions management.

7+ years leading teams in a professional services or consulting organization.

Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or accounting required; MBA or CFA preferred.

Working knowledge of Python and SQL; ability to process and analyze large data sets.

Ability to develop and execute long-term operational roadmaps; proactive and results-oriented with the ability to drive change.

Strong data analysis, issue identification, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel) and understanding of legal billing, pricing, and budget management; strong PowerPoint skills and ability to present data clearly.

Experience with e-billing systems and ELM software; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

The salary range for this role is $307,500 per year - $362,500 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
