Overview Job Description Summary: PayPal is seeking a Product Manager to lead the Storefront Ads program, driving strategy and execution across display, video, connected TV, mobile, web, and both owned & operated and third-party surfaces. The role focuses on ramping and scaling Storefront Ads, delivering innovative product solutions to maximize monetization opportunities, creative optimization, advertiser value, and seamless e-commerce experiences. The candidate will apply deep knowledge of ecommerce ads and creative optimization while overseeing the program from inception through large-scale deployment.
Responsibilities
Inputs to product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders aligned with the product vision.
Implements the architectural roadmap balancing design, technical implementation, regulatory requirements, time-to-market, customer needs, and profitability.
Define customer experience needs and incorporate them into product requirements and decision making.
Monitor metrics informing product success, including usability studies, research, and market analysis.
Manage one or more workstreams (analytics, customer discovery, market research, competitive analysis) to drive data-driven decisions.
Monitor product profitability measures and budget considerations.
Participate in operational mechanisms that drive execution and accountability (Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, Business Reviews) and interface with product and technology leadership as needed.
Partner with content developers, data scientists, product designers, and user experience researchers.
Qualifications
5+ years of product management experience in digital advertising, retail media, or ecommerce technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience scaling advertising programs or platforms across display, video, CTV, and multiple surfaces.
Expertise in creative optimization, including interactive and shoppable ad formats, and familiarity with dynamic creative technologies (DCO).
Strong understanding of ecommerce, ad tech, APIs, and advertising system integrations (e.g., DSPs, SSPs, ad servers).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional, multi-phase initiatives from inception to mass deployment.
Data-oriented with experience in KPI definition, A/B testing, and performance-driven iteration.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to align stakeholders.

Develop, own, and execute the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for Storefront Ads, integrating PayPal’s payments and commerce capabilities into scalable advertising solutions.
Lead ramp and scale of Storefront Ads across O&O and 3P surfaces, collaborating with engineering, design, data, and partnerships to deploy ads across display, video, and CTV channels.
Drive creative optimization and automation, including design, iteration, and testing of interactive/shoppable ad formats that maximize engagement and conversions.
Champion technical integrations (APIs, payments, ad serving) to support real-time commerce data and synchronized ad experiences.
Oversee DCO strategies and creative template frameworks for personalization and efficiency at scale.
Build and enhance templated ad offerings to optimize targeting, creative delivery, measurement, and conversion.
Define and track KPIs (engagement, ROI, conversion) with experimentation and data insights to optimize results.
Partner with internal teams to establish best practices for creative, technical, and performance across surfaces.

Pay and Benefits The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $152,500 to $262,350. PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on factors including work location, relevant skills and experience.
