A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: Special Procedures Tech - Radiology Job Details: • Work 4 10-hour shifts with call responsibilities • 1:1 patient ratio in angiography/interventional radiology setting • Work as part of 3-4 person teams (2 Tech, 2 RN - ideal staffing) • ICU/ER experience required • Critical care drip management experience needed • Angiography/IR experience required including stroke and trauma care • Must have critical care and angiography (IR) experience • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS • Uniform requirements: Navy blue and black for tech • Work with specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, Jet Stream • Use EPIC Cupid documentation system • Perform procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, Trauma • Work in 3 Angiography Labs (2 Dedicated IR Labs/1 Hybrid OR) • Handle high acuity patient population • No floating requirements Facility: This is a 612-bed healthcare facility serving as the region's only Level I trauma center and children's hospital.
