Engineering Leader – Oracle Fusion ERP (Retail Modernization Focus) Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 4 days onsite) Company Overview Our client is a globally recognized leader in the distribution and supply chain industry, operating across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. The Opportunity We are seeking a transformational technology leader to drive the modernization of back-office systems at a national retail footprint. This newly created role will be responsible for the implementation, integration, and long-term ownership of the Oracle Fusion platform across a large-scale, enterprise-grade store operations environment. You’ll lead a high-impact engineering team and work in close collaboration with application development, cloud engineering, and business stakeholders. The position requires deep Oracle Fusion ERP expertise (with functional strength in SCM, Financials, or HCM) and the ability to guide both technical execution and long-term platform strategy. Key Responsibilities Own the architecture vision and roadmap for the Oracle Fusion platform enterprise-wide. Lead platform implementation and integration across a multi-system landscape, including legacy and cloud-native platforms. Guide platform selection decisions and define best-fit solutions based on business requirements, usability, cost, and technical impact. Oversee cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. Partner with internal and external resources, including systems integrators, third-party vendors, and offshore teams. Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team to build modern, simplified ERP capabilities. Drive reduction in technical debt and improvement in operational performance through proactive engineering leadership. Ensure platform compliance with industry best practices, security standards, automation goals, and agile delivery methodologies. Serve as an advocate for Oracle Fusion’s evolving roadmap, including innovations like Redwood UX, Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), and Agentic AI. Ideal Profile 12+ years of experience in ERP implementation, delivery, and support (preferably 15+). 6+ years in engineering or technical leadership roles, ideally within enterprise retail, supply chain, or manufacturing environments. Hands-on Oracle Fusion ERP expertise with specialization in one or more modules: Supply Chain (SCM), Financials, or HCM. Strong understanding of modern integration patterns, agile methodologies, and cloud-native architectures. Demonstrated experience with complex system integrations for omnichannel retail or B2B commerce environments. Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across IT, business, and external partners. Experience leading large teams (50+ internal and external resources) across time zones and project phases. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a high level of organizational savvy. Work Location This role is based in Atlanta, GA and requires a hybrid schedule of 4 days onsite per week. Why This Role?
