Pay Type / Range: Hourly / Salary. $65,000 - $90,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications). (This pay range is a good-faith estimate of compensation for this role.)

Job Summary : This position plays a critical role in managing and overseeing contractual agreements throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. This position ensures that all contracts are compliant with legal standards, company policies, and project requirements. The Contracts Specialist collaborates closely with project managers, legal teams, vendors, and clients to negotiate terms, mitigate risks, and support successful project execution.

Draft, review, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, to ensure compliance and minimize risk. Bid Procurement Coordination:
Solicit, track, and organize subcontractor and vendor quotes for active bids. Contract Review & Support:
Assist in reviewing bid documents, specifications, and contract terms to identify risks and requirements. Document Management:
Maintain organized records of bid invitations, addenda, RFIs, and proposal submissions. Compliance Oversight:
Ensure all bid submissions meet client requirements and internal standards. Assist in Submission of Proposals. Risk Mitigation:
Identify and address contractual risks; ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements. Process Development:
Assist in creating and refining procurement and contract management processes and systems. Collaboration:
Work closely with estimating, project management, and accounting teams to support project execution. Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and procurement activities, along with regulatory requirement recordkeeping; generate reports for leadership. Leadership Development:
Prepare to take on departmental leadership responsibilities, including mentoring, strategy development, and team management.
Preferred Education and Experience: 3–5 years of experience in contracts administration, procurement, or construction project support. Familiarity with construction contracts (e.g., AIA, subcontractor agreements) and procurement best practices. Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, online construction project platform, and construction ERP platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent negotiation and analytical skills. Bachelor’s degree in business, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required). Demonstrated interest in leadership and process improvement.
