We are partnering with a well-established commercial construction firm based in Nashville, TN, seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects from inception through completion. This is a pivotal role focused on project execution, client satisfaction, and financial performance across a diverse portfolio of projects.

About the Position
As a
Project Manager , you will take ownership of assigned projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors, design teams, and internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. You’ll develop project goals and schedules, manage budgets, and proactively address challenges to keep work on track. Beyond execution, you’ll also play a key role in strengthening client relationships and contributing to the company’s reputation for excellence and integrity.

What You’ll Do
Project Planning and Execution
Develop and refine project-specific goals, schedules, and budgets aligned with client expectations. Manage day-to-day project operations to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and safety requirements. Provide estimating assistance and collaborate with preconstruction teams as needed. Identify design inefficiencies and recommend cost-effective solutions while maintaining project specifications. Oversee the completion of subcontracts, purchase orders, and vendor approvals. Manage change orders, pay applications, and project documentation with precision and transparency. Conduct weekly project meetings with all stakeholders to communicate updates and resolve challenges.
Client and Team Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and proactive issue resolution. Maintain open lines of communication with superintendents, design partners, subcontractors, and vendors. Participate in client interviews, meetings, and presentations to strengthen relationships and foster trust. Collaborate with internal teams to review job cost projections and performance metrics.
Project Oversight and Performance
Track progress against established milestones and adjust project strategies as needed. Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications. Review and address design or field issues before they impact cost or schedule. Provide accurate, timely reports to management regarding financial and operational performance.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in
Construction Management ,
Civil Engineering , or a related field. 1–5 years
of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction, including prior experience as a Project Engineer. Proven ability to manage small to mid-size commercial projects ($5M–$15M). Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a proactive, client-centered approach. Proficiency in
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Vista, P6 Scheduling, Timberline estimating , and
Procore . Ability to read and interpret construction documents accurately. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed (typically within a 75-mile radius, with occasional overnight stays).
