POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Guest Services Associate (GSA) is dedicated to delivering an exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will assist guests with check-ins and check-outs, respond to inquiries, and handle payments in alignment with company procedures. You will also maintain front office operations and uphold safety and security standards for all guests and team members.
MAJOR / KEY JOB DUTIES
Show unwavering commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
Actively assist guests and respond thoughtfully to requests and concerns.
Empower to resolve guest issues using the Make It Right approach and foster an atmosphere of respect and kindness.
Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures according to company protocols.
Manage in-house balances and maintain accuracy in cash and credit card handling.
Prepare and maintain the breakfast display efficiently each morning.
Ensure a neat and organized front desk and common areas in compliance with company standards.
Effectively sell the value of our services to inquiries and convert them into reservations.
Collect important guest information in line with guidelines to identify potential sales leads.
Conduct periodic property tours to ensure adherence to brand standards.
Offer reasonable accommodations to guests when possible.
Comply with all company policies and promptly report safety and security issues.
OTHER DUTIES
Contribute to overall hotel cleanliness; assist in maintaining various hotel areas.
Participate in cross-training for housekeeping and laundry support as needed.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES
Proficiency in English for effective communication with guests and staff.
Familiarity with property management systems and auditing procedures.
Ability to understand and comply with safety regulations and operating instructions.
Competency in completing routine reports and correspondence.
Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.
Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position and navigate hotel premises.
Occasionally required to access low areas and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Exposure to various weather conditions as needed.
Ability to work in diverse environmental conditions, including noise and potential exposure to cleaning chemicals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; related experience preferred.
