Exciting Opportunity: We are looking for a passionate per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for our outpatient office in North Haven, CT, focusing primarily on neuro rehabilitation. This role places important emphasis on treating adults dealing with speech and language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. Key Responsibilities: The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will: Independently evaluate each patient's functional level. Develop and implement personalized treatment goals and plans that align with patient and caregiver objectives. Determine effective treatment strategies to restore and rehabilitate communication and swallowing capabilities. Conduct thorough assessments of patients, utilizing both evaluation skills and therapeutic techniques. Perform medically-based communicative and swallowing diagnostics and treatments in an outpatient setting. This role involves a strong focus on assessing and treating impairments caused by stroke, brain injury, progressive neuromuscular diseases, and voice disorders. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid State of Connecticut License in Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
