$20 – $30 per hour (based on experience) Cedars-Sinai Medical Network is seeking an experienced
Ophthalmic Technician
to join the Vision Center team in Beverly Hills. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on clinical experience in ophthalmology or optometry and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Responsibilities
Prepare patients for ophthalmic examinations and record medical histories, medications, and allergies. Perform vision screening tests, applanation tonometry, and visual field assessments. Conduct auto-refraction, intraocular pressure measurements, and corneal topography. Assist physicians during eye exams, procedures, and minor surgeries. Administer prescribed eye drops (cycloplegics, mydriatics, and anesthetics). Maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Provide patient education on eye medications, post-procedure care, and follow-up. Qualifications
Minimum
6 months of experience
in an ophthalmology or vision care setting –
Required BLS (AHA or ARC)

Required Ophthalmic Assistant Certificate
–
Required EPIC charting experience
–
Required Experience with vision insurance and benefit plans –
Required Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)
–
Preferred Familiarity with
VF, IOL, OCT, and Optos
testing –
Preferred Experience in a
high-volume, multi-provider clinic
