Account Executive at Impact Staffing International Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Impact Staffing International (ISI) is seeking an experienced

Principal AI Lead

to serve as the strategic and technical authority for Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy, governance, and enterprise adoption at our client’s Irving location. This is a 6–12-month contract, on-site position and will define and drive the organization’s vision, roadmap, and implementation for AI adoption across the enterprise—ensuring innovation is delivered responsibly, securely, and in alignment with business priorities. Ideally at the end of the contracted period if performance and budget allow, the client would like to convert this person to a permanent employee.

The Principal AI Lead will be responsible for developing and executing AI strategies, evaluating emerging technologies, identifying and piloting high-value use cases, and operationalizing AI and GenAI solutions at scale. This role will guide the technical implementation of AI and machine learning initiatives across multiple business units while championing ethical, transparent, and compliant AI practices.

This position works under minimal supervision, partnering closely with enterprise data governance, engineering, and business leadership teams to advance AI maturity, ensure cross-functional alignment, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Core Responsibilities Include:

Define and execute enterprise-wide AI strategy aligned with business goals and governance standards.

Serve as the primary contact for AI initiatives, advising leadership on capabilities, risks, compliance, and technology platform selection.

Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI opportunities from ideation through production, ensuring measurable value and ROI.

Design and guide implementation of enterprise-grade AI and GenAI architectures, including LLM integration, RAG models, and ML pipelines.

Lead evaluation and adoption of AI tools and platforms (e.g., Azure ML, Snowflake, Dataiku), balancing innovation with governance and scalability.

Establish and enforce AI governance frameworks ensuring ethical, transparent, and compliant usage.

Develop, implement and enhance MLOps best practices, including model training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.

Partner with HR, data governance, and technical teams to drive AI literacy and organizational readiness.

Mentor and guide data science and engineering teams in AI solution design, operationalization, and governance alignment.

Required Skills and Background:

Master's degree or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in applied Data Science or ML/AI strategy with leadership in enterprise-level initiatives.

Proven experience leading AI strategy, governance frameworks, and cross-functional implementation.

Advanced understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI (LLMs, transformers, RAG architectures).

Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI solutions using tools such as Azure ML, Dataiku, Snowflake, or similar platforms.

Proficiency with cloud-based infrastructure and MLOps pipelines.

Ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear business value and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong collaboration and influence skills across engineering, analytics, governance, and business teams.

Knowledge of responsible AI principles, including bias mitigation, fairness, transparency, and compliance.

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

Advanced certifications in AI/ML (AWS Certified ML Specialist, Microsoft Azure AI Engineer, TensorFlow Developer, etc.).

Experience leading or contributing to enterprise AI/ML platforms, AI Centers of Excellence, or governance models.

Expertise in Snowflake architecture and AI/ML model optimization.

Proficiency with Python and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face).

Experience delivering AI models in domains such as NLP, forecasting, computer vision, or recommendation systems.
