Position Summary... What you'll do
Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Provide member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and assisting members with locating merchandise. Provide member service by maintaining self-checkout area, resolving member issues and concerns, promoting Sams Club products and services, and guiding members regarding self-service technology; process member purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types; assist members with transactions utilizing the self-checkout area. Assist with securing and safeguarding Sams Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity according to company policies and procedures; maintain paperwork logs and other required documentation; execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with company security and safety practices. Assist with the training of Member Frontline Service associates on company processes and procedures; teach new technology and tool functionality; deliver new program rollout training; provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying them in executing business processes and practices. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks, communicate progress, and identify improvement opportunities; adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback. The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
