Overview
Hours: M-F 8-5 Pay: $95,000+ (based on experience) Onsite in Baldwin City, KS Direct Hire Responsibilities
Drive strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned commodities and categories to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Negotiate and manage long-term supplier agreements, including pricing, terms, and performance metrics. Develop, qualify, and manage supplier relationships to reduce risk and ensure consistent, on-time material availability. Oversee tactical procurement activities including PO issuance, bid evaluation, and resolution of delivery or quality issues. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and finance teams to align sourcing strategies with production and business goals. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field required; CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM preferred. 7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace. Strong knowledge of commodity management, supplier qualification, contract negotiation, and vendor scorecarding. Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and capable of interpreting technical drawings or specifications for sourcing purposes. Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to lead sourcing initiatives independently. Additional Information
