Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Administrator and Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care for each resident at all times. Follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice as set forth by the facility’s administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures. Education/Qualifications

Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN within the state in which you work or licensed as an LPN if the state allows. Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care. Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software. Shift & Wage
