Job Summary
Memorial Hermann’s Breast Center is actively seeking a dedicated Mammographer for a full-time position.
Full-time, Day Shift (7a-5:30p) - 4x10hr shifts, Monday to Friday with one Saturday per month (clinic closes at 1:30 PM).
Overtime opportunities available if desired (not required).

As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform radiographic procedures to help diagnose and treat patients.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; graduate of an approved Mammography Technology program. Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support. Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required. Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R). Registered Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-M). Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Ability to lift and maneuver patients with assistance as needed. Principal Accountabilities Perform mammography radiographic exams, ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures: prepare and position patients, explain exams, select imaging techniques, and maintain image quality. Enter and monitor patient data accurately. Conduct quality assurance on mammography equipment and assist with accreditation applications. Report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to management. Participate in emergency call rotation within the department. Ensure safe care in adherence to Memorial Hermann policies, including effective time and supply management. Promote professional growth by fulfilling continuing education requirements and mentoring less experienced staff. Demonstrate commitment to compassionate care and exceptional service standards to patients and colleagues. Perform additional duties as assigned.
