We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Power Generation Engineer. This position can be located at any of our WEC Energy Group power generation or renewable locations in Wisconsin. This position is part of a job family (Associate Engineer, Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Principal Engineer) where experience will be the determining factor. The role supports projects and programs that are part of WEC Energy Group’s $13.2 billion electric generation capital investment plan, which will power economic growth and provide energy reliability in Wisconsin. An additional 1,800 MW of electric demand is expected in the state between 2025 and 2029 — an increased electric load of approximately 20%. Lead scope development to include: analysis and recommendations of design options, recommendations for structures, systems and components, preparation of engineering designs, material and construction specifications and cost estimates, review of internal and external construction plans and implementation of construction activities for more complex projects. Provide technical expertise on assigned power generation equipment and/or technologies. Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting of equipment failures to determine root causes and identify actions to prevent reoccurrence. Manage capital projects across the Power Generation Fleet territory, which could entail work at Gas Storage, Wind, Solar, or Fossil Fuel sites. Collaborate with and manage contractors for project and labor needs. Develop project budgets, schedules, and reporting of financial performance including periodic project updates. Lead vendor selection based on project needs, serve as safety liaison to projects, and serve as point of contact for project activities. Develop project authorization requests (PAR) and attend senior leadership project team (SPT) as required. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Relevant experience Preferred Qualifications

11/09/2025 Pay Range Minimum : $66,898.00 Pay Range Maximum : $152,615.06 The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual at WEC Energy Group to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
