EPIC (experience preferred)

Estimated Weekly Pay:
$1880 - $2020
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 18 months of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Telemetry competency (must be completed and passed prior to start)
Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
Strong professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment
PCU Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional nursing care to PCU patients with conditions such as sepsis, pneumonia, DKA, multi-system failure, spinal injuries, cardiac conditions, respiratory compromise, CHF, COPD, and post-surgical needs
Perform and manage PICC lines, access ports, cardiac rhythm interpretation, bipap management, IV medication titration, PCA administration, tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and general drains
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including CNAs, charge nurses, hospitalists, and support staff
Float to related units (PCU, ACC, Med/Surg, ED Holding) as needed
Participate in morning huddles and unit communications
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
Uphold hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care
