Electrical Engineer
65-70/HR
Position Summary: The successful candidate will contribute to the development of oxygen therapy medical devices, focusing on the design of electronic embedded systems. This role involves close collaboration within multidisciplinary teams that integrate electrical, mechanical, and software engineering expertise. Requirements: Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering discipline. At least 6 years of professional experience, ideally involving the design and manufacturing of electro-mechanical products. Proficiency with electrical CAD tools; experience with
Altium Designer
is preferred. Strong grasp of electrical engineering principles, including analog and digital circuit design, digital communication, control systems, power efficiency, PCB assemblies, prototyping, and debugging. Hands-on experience using test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting. Skilled in building and testing electrical prototypes and in soldering surface-mount components on PCBs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing embedded electronic systems utilizing microcontrollers. Knowledge of control systems, such as brushless DC motor control and electro-pneumatic mechanisms. Familiarity with low-voltage power management solutions for both AC and battery-powered devices. Background in implementing wireless communication technologies, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and/or cellular connectivity. Understanding of communication protocols such as UART, IC, SPI, and USB. Basic programming experience in languages such as
C
or
C++ . Medical Device Experience (a plus): Familiarity with medical device design control processes and compliance with relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 60601, ISO 13485, ISO 9001) is highly desirable.
