Your role in helping us shape the future: The chosen candidate will work as part of the U.S. News Healthcare vertical, helping to drive the success of marketing solutions for the senior living industry. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong background in B2B sales, client relations, and marketing strategy, with exposure to working with product teams. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with an entrepreneurial attitude and able to work independently in a sales capacity, demonstrating initiative and ownership across the sales cycle. Only Local New York and Washington, D.C applicants will be considered. Are you up to the challenge? Drive new business and deliver growth against defined revenue targets. Generate leads, exceed sales targets, and research the marketplace for continued sources of revenue. Develop, manage, and grow pipeline to capture runway. Client relations: Build and maintain rapport with new and existing clients through excellent service and by attending external events and conferences. Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow the relationship and contribute to client and revenue retention and growth. Achieve domain knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the senior living industry and how U.S. News content and ratings serve end users and community owners/operators. Educate prospects on the value of U.S. News marketing services and overcome objections based on product knowledge. Business solutions: Collaborate with the team to build the business. Translate client feedback into product enhancements and communicate desired enhancements to technology teams. Product launch support: Work with cross-functional teams to communicate with customers and prospects around rating launches and key product changes. Job Requirements

You should definitely have: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent One to three years of sales and account management experience Experience selling marketing solutions, performance marketing or subscription-based platform services Experience with a B2B recurring revenue sales model A strong track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets Experience with client service and support Strong communication and collaboration skills Detail-oriented with excellent time management Ability to work collaboratively with a team or independently as needed The ability to travel to industry events and represent U.S. News It would be nice if you had: Experience in the senior living or healthcare industry and calling on provider institutions Experience securing early adopter clients and building a client base for a new product Experience collaborating with product management teams What it’s like to work with us: Talent is our best asset. In New York City, the anticipated base salary range is $65,000 – $75,000. This position is eligible for commission. The actual base salary offered depends on factors including qualifications, experience, education, certifications, interview performance, and location.
