Senior Account Executive (SAE) – Denver, CO Acera Surgical is seeking a senior sales professional to promote and sell our medical device products within a defined geographic territory by developing new accounts and expanding usage within current accounts.

Our products treat a wide variety of medical conditions, including chronic wounds, traumatic wounds, surgical wounds, and thermal injuries. We are driven by innovation and actively engaged in high‑quality research to expand indications and emulate synthetic regeneration.

Responsibilities

Promote products by scheduling sales calls with current and potential customers (surgeons and hospitals) to meet or exceed revenue and unit growth objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Develop and implement sales strategies by determining the needs (clinical, economic, etc.) of existing and potential accounts to effectively sell the company's products in the operating room.

Create action plans (weekly, quarterly, monthly) for territory management by analyzing contract access, sales figures, and reports to identify trends and opportunities.

Provide product support to surgeons and hospital personnel while in the operating room, focusing on Lower Extremity, Plastics, Vascular, Ortho Trauma, and Ortho Oncology subspecialties.

Target events and opportunities to engage multiple surgeons within a specialty using available corporate resources.

Demonstrate a customer‑first mentality, delivering a consistently high level of customer service.

Respond to customer needs regarding products and services with creative solutions in a timely and compliant manner.

Build and maintain meaningful relationships with decision makers at all care sites to create long‑term customers.

Educate customers on the safe and effective use of products through presentations and demonstrations using various formats and platforms.

Collaborate with national accounts and reimbursement teams to ensure physician and account support for prescribing products and billing processes.

Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, product inventory, and territory sales forecasts.

Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive activities while demonstrating a keen knowledge of the local market.

Collaborate with the direct manager to determine the necessary resources to achieve sales objectives for all clients.

Support trade shows and drive attendance of surgeons from the territory.

Education / Experience

B.A. or B.S. (or equivalent) required.

5+ years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical outside sales.

Operating room sales experience preferred.

Work Environment

Field‑based position with 80–90% travel within the assigned territory.

Must follow appropriate dress code and adhere to credentialing, registration, and vaccination requirements when at customer sites.

Physically capable of standing for long hours in the operating room during cases.
