Position Overview
Reed City Pediatric Medicine is seeking a Board‑Certified Pediatrician (MD or DO) to join a busy, diverse practice in Reed City, MI. The role includes child medical care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and the opportunity to serve as Pediatric Section Chief for the Northeast region.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pediatric patient care in a practice open extended hours.
Participate in a nurse triage system to manage home calls and support patients efficiently.
Coordinate with internal medicine, family physicians, advanced practice providers, RN care managers, social workers, pharmacists, and other staff to deliver value‑based care.
Attend weekly huddles and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Lead the Pediatric Section when available, serving a broad region.
Qualifications
Board‑Certified Pediatrician (MD or DO)
Valid state licensure in Michigan.
DEA registration.
BLS certification (90 days required).
AHA ACLS certification (if required).
AHA PALS certification (120 days required).
Active CPR certification.
