Senior Back End Software Engineer - Global Payment Network

What You'll Do: Partner with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support a wide array of technical solutions across full-stack development tools and technologies. Stay ahead of tech trends and embrace new technologies while mentoring fellow engineers and engaging with both internal and external tech communities. Team up with digital product managers to create robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve their financial goals. Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, and work with both Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, as well as Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes and various AWS services. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internship experience). Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of expertise in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js. 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar cloud services. 3+ years working with open-source frameworks. 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies. 3+ years of experience with Test Automation. 2+ years of experience testing and implementing API service architecture using Spring Boot, Java, Junit, Cucumber, Gherkin, Gatling, Xray or Pact Testing. 1+ year of experience with DevOps practices and building tools using Jenkins CI/CD, Gradle, Github, Nexus, and SonarQube. Please note that the base salary for this role ranges from $158,600 to $181,000 in McLean, VA, and $144,200 to $164,600 in Riverwoods, IL. This position may also include performance-based incentive compensation, which could consist of cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
