Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney to join our litigation team in Concord, NH. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience handling complex medical malpractice cases, including pre-trial litigation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Key Responsibilities
Represent healthcare providers, hospitals, and insurers in medical malpractice defense matters
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Manage case files from inception through resolution
Participate in depositions, mediations, and court hearings
Collaborate with expert witnesses and prepare for trial
Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active membership in the New Hampshire Bar (or eligibility for admission)
3–5 years of experience in medical malpractice or healthcare litigation
Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
Commitment to ethical practice and professional development
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with New Hampshire medical liability laws and procedures
Experience working with healthcare professionals and expert witnesses
Trial experience is a plus
