In this crucial role, you will lead the financial operations, strategy, and sustainability of our organization, which is committed to ending homelessness through comprehensive housing and supportive services. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all fiscal management activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. The ideal candidate will align our resources with our mission and strategic objectives, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You will manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment strategies meticulously. To be successful in this position, applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 6 years in financial leadership roles. Experience in nonprofit financial management, fund accounting, and grant compliance is highly desirable. The right candidate will have a proven track record in managing budgets, forecasts, and audits within a mission-driven organization, alongside exceptional communication skills and a collaborative, mentoring leadership style. A Master's degree, CPA, or a related advanced degree is advantageous. You will closely collaborate with the CEO, Executive Team, and Board Finance Committee. Proficiency in cloud-based financial systems is required, and familiarity with Sage Intacct would be beneficial.
