This position is perfect for a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) who possesses strong leadership skills in hospice care, home health, or clinical operations management. Key Responsibilities: Oversee overall operations of the hospice branch, ensuring adherence to state, federal, and accreditation standards (CMS, Medicare, Joint Commission, etc.). Provide clinical oversight and guarantee timely and accurate documentation of hospice services. Recruit, hire, supervise, assess, and support a multidisciplinary hospice staff, including RN Clinical Managers, RNs, LPNs, social workers, chaplains, CNAs, and volunteers. Manage patient admissions and care planning to ensure a seamless and efficient intake process. Foster a culture of excellence in hospice nursing, end-of-life care, and family support. Conduct employee performance evaluations, manage workloads fairly, and address staff concerns effectively. Lead ongoing quality improvement (CQI) initiatives and maintain readiness for audits and surveys. Monitor financial performance, manage expenses, payroll, and budgets while driving branch revenue growth through effective census development and resource management. Build and maintain robust relationships with physicians, referral sources, and the wider community. About You: Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of employment (required). Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred). 3+ years of leadership experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare operations. Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance, and Medicare conditions of participation. Proven track record in managing teams, budgets, and interdisciplinary operations.
