Join us as a Bid Manager, where you will be instrumental in creating Technical and Commercial Proposals for New Equipment. You will actively support the organization in closing deals and engaging in Client opportunity discussions. You will be instrumental in developing innovative technical solutions using Siemens Energy application tools and processes. Additionally, you will be creating commercial offerings that align with our pricing guidelines and governance requirements. Responsibilities

Review and interpret Client requisitions and specifications for new equipment, including Centrifugal Compressors and Motors, across Decarbonization, Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream applications in the Energy, Oil & Gas, and Petrochemical markets. Develop equipment selections using Siemens Energy’s aerodynamic, rotor dynamic, and material selection tools. Lead Bid Strategy discussions for new turbo opportunities, highlighting the technical and value advantages of Siemens Energy’s products and services. Prepare Buyout RFQs (request for quotation) and engage with major sub-suppliers to negotiate mutually beneficial solutions for Clients. Collaborate with various departments, including Finance and Project Scheduling, to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and prepare technical/execution risk assessments. Direct the integration of technical activities and vendor-supplied equipment in regional proposals, ensuring that all Technical and Commercial proposals meet Siemens Energy’s standards for quality, completeness, and timeliness. You will also coordinate cost analysis, prepare pricing and cash flows, and actively participate in client clarification and kick-off meetings. What You Bring / Qualifications

A degree in Mechanical, Petrochemical, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience, with at least 7 years of experience in a relevant role. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level. Experience in roles such as Proposal Engineer, Application Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Process Engineer, Design Engineer, or Project Engineer, Commissioning/Field Engineer, with a concentration in turbo-machinery or related rotating equipment – e.g., Centrifugal Compressors/ Pumps, Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, etc. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities. A global mindset and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft suite of programs. Must be able to travel up to 20% globally to support project presentations, bid clarifications, trainings, and kick-off meetings. Preferred Skills / Knowledge / Experience

OEM (Original equipment manufacturer), LNG (liquified natural gas) or EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) experience. Understanding of pricing, costing and equipment selection. Knowledge of commercial or technical bidding or quoting. International experience. Bilingual in Spanish, German, Portuguese, or Chinese. Travel

Must be able to travel up to 20% globally to support project presentations, bid clarifications, trainings, and kick-off meetings. Legal and Compliance
