Position Summary:

The D365 Finance IT Manager will play a critical role in both the implementation and ongoing management of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) system. Initially, this role will support the transition from Microsoft Great Plains to D365 F&O, working closely with internal teams and external consultants. Post-implementation, the manager will take full ownership of the system, ensuring it runs smoothly, evolves with business needs, and continues to deliver value. This opportunity is for a strategic and hands-on leader who can bridge technology and business operations. Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the implementation of D365 Finance, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. Manage the legacy Great Plains environment during the transition period. Serve as the primary owner of D365 Finance post-implementation, overseeing system performance, updates, and user support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and support integrations. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure business continuity. Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, user guides, and best practices. Lead projects related to system upgrades, enhancements, and new module rollouts. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize adoption and effectiveness. Generate reports and performance metrics to inform stakeholders and drive continuous improvement. Act as a liaison between IT, Finance, and business leadership to ensure system alignment with evolving business needs. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience managing ERP systems (D365 F&O preferred, but comparable systems acceptable). Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and processes. Experience leading ERP implementations and managing post-go-live operations. Excellent problem-solving and project management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and team development. Ability to travel monthly to client locations in Texas and Louisiana. Physical Requirements
