The Video Systems Engineer plays a vital role in shaping those moments by providing support to the Production Manager in the operation and management of production video systems, development of serve team members, and execution of services and events at the Eagle River (ER) Campus. This role exists to support and develop teams who don’t just “DO” production, but lead people to Jesus through technical excellence, and a deep commitment to worship and to ministry. Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-level touring production environment or equivalent experience in church ministry production Deep understanding of video systems and workflows in high-demand live production settings Proven track record of effectively leading and managing volunteer teams High-level of proficiency with both Apple Mac and PC operating systems and hardware Strong understanding of cinematic cameras, color correction, shading, and industry standard best practices Understanding of professional video systems including: Black Magic systems, Ross Carbonite Expression Software/Dashboard, ProPresenter, Resi hardware and software platforms Strong understanding of time code, genlock, sync, recording codecs, and IP based distribution Experience video directing for medium sized, live worship and/or concert events for multi-camera IMAG and broadcast deliverables Experience with deployment of Absen LED products, and Media Server hardware and software - MBOX, Resolume, ProVideoServer Extensive hands-on experience with professional video production systems, including Blackmagic Design, Renewed Vision (ProPresenter), and Ross Video systems and software Strong verbal and written communication skills Understanding of church management, communication, and training tools, such as: Monday.com, Microsoft Teams, Planning Center Online, WhatsApp, MxU Teams, etc Team player, “can do” attitude, quick to “own mistakes”, and willing to make last minute adjustments and build systems that allow for flexibility Primary Responsibilities
High degree of judgment and discretion as a representative of ACF Church Adhere to the ACF Staff Core Values Support and fulfill the mission, vision, core values and goals of ACF Church Oversee and maintain all video systems associated with weekend services and events at the ER Campus Assist the ER Campus Production Manager in the development of production volunteers while maintaining campus workspaces Provide production support for weekly events tied to weekend services, student ministries, conferences, and other special events Consistently operate systems and follow procedures established by both the ACF Video Direction and ER Campus Production Manager on a weekly basis Collaborate closely with ACF’s Video Director to support the design, integration, and deployment video systems across worship environments at the ACF ER Campus Assist in the development of ACF Youth Culture Students, Serve Team Members, and Volunteer Staff who serve in the ACF ER campus video production department Co-lead regular training sessions for serve team members in video production systems and best practices Work closely with the ACF ER Campus Production Manager, and collaborate with the ACF Video Director to make recommendations that keep ACF in alignment with industry standards and best practices Time Commitment
Position status: Full Time l Exempt – Salary Work days: Sunday - Thursday
