This program is transforming how mission systems are developed and deployed across the Intelligence Community. Through advanced Agile and DevSecOps integration, the team is building cloud-native, data-driven solutions that accelerate decision-making, automate secure workflows, and empower analysts and engineers alike. The Senior Release Train Engineer (RTE) plays a pivotal role in orchestrating large-scale Agile delivery, ensuring that innovative, secure capabilities move from concept to operational impact faster than ever before. Primary Responsibilities
Serve as the servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART). Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt events. Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and removing impediments across teams. Partner with Product Management, System Architects, and Scrum Masters to manage dependencies and alignment across Agile teams. Foster collaboration and transparency through metrics, communication, and shared objectives. Promote Agile maturity and coach teams in Lean-Agile principles and SAFe practices. Manage ART delivery cadence to ensure capabilities are deployed on schedule and meet mission requirements. Track program progress using JIRA and Confluence and report metrics to senior leadership. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 12 15 years of experience, or Master's with 10 13 years. Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain Polygraph. 10+ years in Agile software delivery with at least 5 years as a Release Train Engineer or equivalent. SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification. Experience leading Agile teams in complex, multi-contract or multi-organization environments. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile reporting and tracking tools. Strong understanding of DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD principles, and Agile transformation processes. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Preferred Qualifications
Background in software engineering or systems engineering for IC or DoD programs. Experience driving Agile maturity and enterprise transformation efforts. Knowledge of AWS or cloud-based delivery environments. SAFe SPC certification or advanced Agile facilitation experience. Compensation
Target Salary Range:
$140,000 - $180,000 The Ennoble First pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered include the responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, and applicable laws.
