Forensic Structural Engineer
to join its Dallas-based team. The firm is recognized for its deep expertise in
construction defect analysis
and
litigation support , serving clients across legal, insurance, and property sectors. With a commitment to scientific integrity and technical precision, the firm provides expert evaluations of structural failures and damage. Key Responsibilities
Conduct forensic investigations of structural failures, construction defects, and damage from natural or man-made events. Perform on-site assessments of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Analyze structural systems and materials to determine cause and extent of damage. Prepare detailed technical reports and expert opinions for legal and insurance purposes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, architectural, and materials engineers. Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings when required. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master\'s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or ability to obtain licensure. 5+ years of experience in structural engineering; forensic or litigation support experience is a strong plus. Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills. Proficiency with structural analysis tools and reporting software. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
