The role is a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Forecasting Replenishment Operations Analyst who will drive data-informed decision-making by optimizing daily operational activities that impact profitability, sales, margins, and inventory. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Operations and is based in our Buckhead, GA office. Primary Responsibilities and Duties Procure and Manage Replenishment and Seasonal Inventory – 50% Manage Replenishment SKU-level Coverage with deep weekly SKU-level analysis to optimize inventory productivity and OTIF (On Time In Full) requirements for ~150 replenishment styles per season. Procure Seasonal and Replenishment Inventory – Issue POs and coordinate with the Production Planning team to ensure factories meet required dates to maximize on-time shipping. Make AIR budget recommendations to cover gaps in coverage for productive and highly visible styles. Track Inbound Inventory – Monitor, review, and track all inbound product to ensure it meets the required in-DC date; assess business impact of delivery issues and communicate issues related to product flow. Demand Orders – Monitor demand orders and adjust supply to accommodate changes (size, need date, packaging, DC changes); base decisions on monthly forecasts while constantly evaluating the forecast and adjusting for fluctuations in demand and market trends. Factory Production Support – Analyze factory product slides/shortages and recommend expediting or cancelling products as needed. On Time Delivery – Coordinate with Transportation/DC teams to execute on-time shipments to customers. Analyzing Data and Reporting – 40% Manage daily/weekly coverage for all styles; collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and business goals. Create and maintain visual reports to communicate findings; support ad hoc data analysis requests. Gather, process, and verify data from multiple sources for accuracy; provide weekly leadership reporting on operational performance of the brand. Management of Open to Buy and Excess – 10% Procurement: Place buys with Sourcing and ensure PO accuracy; identify solutions and report issues. Excess Inventory: Monitor and reduce excess inventory or optimize pricing when needed. Requirements and Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Inventory Analysis, Supply Chain, Inventory Replenishment, Planning, or Inventory Management Clear and effective communication with team members and leadership; ability to synthesize results and share simply Analytical and critical thinking skills with proficiency in Excel and Tableau Ability to synthesize information and present findings concisely Proactive problem identification and solution implementation Team player with strong collaboration in cross-functional environments Preferred Skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Make a Career At Carter’s Career Development: Carter’s University, Toastmasters, mentorship programs, and other resources to support career growth.
