(USA) Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations - Licensed | Walmart Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr What you'll do

Directs heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance and service operations by evaluating current and future projects; examining facility needs; evaluating equipment needs; identifying equipment to increase efficiency; directing temperature adjustment; analyzing systems and load requirements to determine setback modes for energy reduction; evaluating air flow and humidity needs; ensuring functioning of facility systems; developing standard operating procedures; and establishing facility maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating plans and priorities; removing barriers; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress; adjusting performance; developing contingency plans; and supporting continuous learning. Oversees sustainability initiatives to meet Environmental Protection Agency compliance through project schedules, issue resolution with vendors/contractors, and providing technical training. Manages complex projects by determining work assignment priority; planning work assignments; maintaining workforce needs; supervising work in progress; inspecting completed work; creating punch lists; ensuring completion; and approving material requisitions and timecards. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and ethics; trains and directs others in their use; ensures compliance; and supports the Open Door Policy. Directs regional field operations by developing goals, approving activities, controlling costs, tracking preventive maintenance completion, and monitoring contractor performance. Evaluates ongoing plans, programs, and initiatives with business partners and stakeholders; seeks efficiency and cost-effectiveness improvements; participates in community outreach. Develops and approves budgets for capital expenses, staff needs, and compensation; evaluates ROI; collects scopes of work; approves contracts and invoices; determines staffing needs based on workload and growth. Reviews budget plans, purchases parts/materials/equipment, provides technical assistance, and verifies receipt/acceptance. Maintains project oversight by ensuring timelines, controlling costs, coordinating changes, and updating schedules; ensures material availability; prepares labor/material cost estimates; recommends improvements and cost reductions; approves invoices. Manages department budget by analyzing spending, reviewing invoices, developing reports, and ensuring expenditures stay within limits; manages warranty reimbursements and landlord compliance with leases. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local HVAC/R regulations; reviews new laws and conducts inspections. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting plans, setting goals, measuring progress, and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing contributions, and fostering belonging. Promotes Walmart values and ethics, supports the Open Door Policy, and encourages responsible execution of business processes. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area. EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Experience in building controls or related area; experience leading cross-functional teams; external work experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in relevant environments; state/jurisdiction licensing; EPA Type I and II refrigerant handling certification; supervisory experience.
