Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and can work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares (e.g., cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) meat products according to standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adopts new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence; ensures quality and date control; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as an advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area and modelling high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; follows the Open Door Policy; incorporates these in business processes. What you'll do
