Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and remains flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; preparing meat products according to established standards; cutting boneless meat; maintaining product quality standards. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilizes handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence, work area cleanliness, quality and date control for meat products, and proper packaging, labeling, and storage according to company policies and procedures, while assisting members with purchasing decisions. Be a Talent Ambassador: Represents the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and delivering high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Other duties: Complies with company policies and ethics guidelines; uses Open Door Policy; follows business processes and practices; completes work priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; seeks opportunities for improvement; adapts to change and feedback. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Qualifications
