Shift:

Sunday-Thursday 6:00pm-2:30am Sign-on Bonus:

$2,500 This position supports Cencora's distribution services operating through our AmerisourceBergen business in the US. As a Controls Technician Level I, you will work under the general supervision of the Systems Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to support the effective functionality of automated equipment in a fully automated Distribution Center. This role demands strong skills in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues, along with the testing and repair of various electrical systems, including three-phase systems up to 600 volts, AC or DC motors, and more. Key responsibilities include: Implementing comprehensive preventative maintenance plans for facility equipment.

Troubleshooting and repairing materials handling equipment and automated picking systems.

Overseeing maintenance and modifications of controls associated with materials handling systems.

Evaluating operational efficiency of equipment and recommending necessary modifications.

Conducting routine preventive maintenance to ensure continuous productivity.

Maintaining records in the CMMS/EAM system for equipment repairs.

Managing inventory of spare parts.

Willingness to work extended hours as necessary to achieve productivity goals.

Performing additional duties as assigned.

Experience & Education: Technical vocational training or equivalent combination of experience and education is required.

One to two years of related experience preferred, with a strong electrical background.

Skills & Knowledge: Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems with a knack for repair and maintenance.

Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, electrical schematics, and PLC diagrams.

Experience troubleshooting electrical systems including three-phase systems, PLC usage, and HMI configuration.

Knowledge of equipment testing methodologies for various systems including pneumatic and hydraulic.

Computer skills include installation of hardware components and proficiency in MS Office and MHE software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to efficiently resolve issues.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
