Responsibilities
Position is clinical scholar track, non-tenured. Conduct independent research in line with the goals of the Department of Oncology including maintaining a strong record of accomplishments and the ability to secure external funding that will provide salary support as Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator and support research efforts and projects. Publish in peer-reviewed literature as first or co-author. Participate in service assignments of importance to the program, the Department of Oncology, Karmanos Cancer Institute, the School of Medicine, and the University. Unique duties
Qualifications
Valid Michigan medical license for MDs. Rank commensurate with credentials. Board certified/board eligible Doctoral degree required. Post-graduate training required. When applicable, board certification and ability to obtain a Michigan medical license. Evidence of scholarly productivity (i.e., external grant support and scholarly publications). Ability to provide quality instruction to a variety of students. Preferred qualifications
